Okay, it may not have been a snowstorm, and certainly not the 40cm that Scotland has had. But it’s enough to turn the world into a Christmas cake and bring out children with their sleds. The pond is frozen and snowy, the lane is white and everything just sparkles in blanket of brilliant white crystals. Not enough to build a snowman, but enough to look beautiful.
